Since then, many telephone card issuing companies in the UK & overseas have ceased producing such cards, mainly due to changes in technology and the dramatic increase in usage of mobile telephones throughout the whole strata of society, which has obviously adversely affected the revenue previously gained through sales of such cards.

However there are millions of telephone cards still issued worldwide and collecting telephone cards is still a prolific hobby growing from strength to strength, with many new up to date world catalogues to collect.

This club has now enlarged its horizons to encompass the study and collection of all types of telephone cards including thematic, test trial, "remote memory" and GSM cards.

Individual members are already playing a major part in the provision of new and on-going information to help up-date new catalogues which are, or will be available world-wide.

The club issues a bi-monthly newsletter with current news, occasional competitions, and study articles on individual cards or issues.

All members are encouraged to provide information, articles, and even advertise in this medium.

An "exchange column" has started.

The club also promotes and advertises exhibitions, fairs and events worldwide, so you can always check if there is an event on near you!

The main TCC fair is normally held at the end of April - beginning of May, and 3 smaller events are held during the year.
Admission to the fair is FREE !Other events are announced as we get the information from you!
