Chairperson's Report for the Orpington Fair on December 3rd 2005
 

 
My journey to the fair on December 3rd was not without trouble, mainly due to the fact that engineering works were in progress between Sevenoaks and Orpington.
 
This delayed my arrival by 40 minutes, having to take a bus which stopped at every station on the way
 
On arrival, I was surprised to find very few people in attendance, just Peter, Tony, Glyn and one other dealer, and, of course, the ladies doing the refreshments
 
However, by 11 am, the hall was buzzing with our usual dealers and collectors, and it was turning out to be quite a good fair
 
Speaking to the dealers towards the end, most said they had had a very good day
